I’m really excited to share that my poem “Banyan Song” took third place in the 2021 Hawker Prize for Southeast Asian Poetry. It’s an honor to be recognized for this piece and I am grateful to be sharing the award with my nominating editor, Esther Vincent Xueming of the Tiger Moth Review. You can read the winning poem here.
